El equipo de ChanSkype ha sacado esta nueva version y afirman que es la version mas robusta del mismo. Este es el ChangeLog:

• Tweaks to sound quality
• No longer blithely installs over a previous version
• More informative install error messages
• Watchdog and reset of unresponsive channels
• Faster startup, especially if drones are up and only Asterisk is restarting
• More info in “skype status”
• Recommended window manager is now Ratpoison
• Version check through “skype drvrelease” at Asterisk CLI
